Aaron judge is now injured for the season will the Yankees be able to make to the playoffs?
On Monday June 3rd Aaron judge suffered a torn ligament on his big toe, while he was running into the right outfield to make a catch, he slammed into the wall at the dodgers stadium. There is still no final answer on wether or not he will be able to play the rest of the season.
So far the Yankees have been having a great season winning 30 games up until that point, and if he goes out for the season the team could be taking a hit hit.

Judge still doesn’t know if he needs surgery yet but if he does need surgery hes not complaining. When asked about the injury Judge says “There’s talk of surgery, but I don’t think we’re at that [point],” said Judge. “I’m not a doctor. I have no idea. They throw around eight different things.” In a an interview with MLB.
Judge has made some type of progress as well has resting. He has been playing catch and some light batting work off a tee. But he has yet to do any major running because he wants to be able to make sure he can give it his all.I’m feeling good, not great yet. We’re getting there,” Judge said. “I’ve got to be able to run. If I can run, then I can play. Me running at 10 percent [isn’t] going to help anybody out there.”
Judge says once he gets his strength and gets rid of all the pain he will be in a ” good spot”. He also sates that he know that there will always be pain it’s just about making it tolerable and so he doesn’t injure himself more. Judge wasn’t able to go to Seattle for all star activities. I’m feeling good, not great yet. We’re getting there,” Judge said. “I’ve got to be able to run. If I can run, then I can play. Me running at 10 percent [isn’t] going to help anybody out there.”
Judge went back to playing baseball in June 29 in Oakland in his usual right outfield position. They played against the Athletics team, both teams played an impressive game but the Yankees took it home with a 11-0.
When asked the Yankees upcoming game against the Orioles he says “They have a good team. They have a good bullpen. They have one of the better starters on the mound. We answered right back [last night]. I think the guys are in a good position. I think we are going to be where we need to be once we get everybody healthy.”
The Orioles are 49 – 38 overall only nine being the first place team Rays in the American League East. New York being just tied with Houston for the final spot in American League wild card race.
